art, it was a pathetic attempt to prop up the bubble which is going to inevitably burst. I find it somewhat ironic that Bob R does not comment about the levels of the mkt (levels that are clearly unsustainable) and yet he makes comments which he knows are bullish for the markets. If he or anyone else in the government has such great insight into the SEA situation how come they were caught off guard by the collapse? Bob Rubin's Wall St buddies are getting rich at the expense of the savings of America -they just don't realize they have been seduced into the one of the biggest bubbles in history. Mike
