Intel Antitrust Suit to Be Brought by FTC in Weeks, Paper Says
The Federal Trade Commission is expected within weeks to file an antitrust lawsuit charging Intel Corp. with withholding technology from customers and companies it is feuding with, USA Today reported, citing unidentified people familiar with the case. The FTC is also considering filing a broader suit within a year claiming Intel forced PC makers that license microprocessors to buy related parts, the paper said. A possible solution for the second case would be for the FTC to force Intel to make its microprocessing code available so PC makers can use non-Intel chip-sets, the paper said. A U.S. district court judge earlier this month ordered Intel to resume supplying Intergraph Corp. with sample computer chips and key technical information.

This can't hurt IDTI.

I agree, Asian markets didn't sell off much last night and Europe and the Americas look OK. The TA for IDTI looks much improved because of the recent move - a short term buy. With the next couple of quarters expected to be flat, the .45-.52 numbers will need to come down a bit. Those numbers were already quite a bit lower than the speculation IDTI might see over $1.
