Babette,

I think ERICY is a good stock to hold forever. It has a nice steady growth without many surprises. I bought at 19 and some change. Sold once and bought back when I realized my mistake. Just my opinion.

Babette, For an insight into ERICY, you may want to read the
article "Communications Smorgasbord" herring.com

Also this is a a good description of the Gorillas (Cisco, Lucent,
Ericsson, etc )

I suggest a core holding in the gorillas - use your profits
for trading/investing in the smaller companies listed in the
article.
And by all means use a Brokerage IRA, to shelter your profits.
