Keith, personally I am tapped out on this company. Been holding a large part of my portfolio here for over a year. I still believe they can earn what they said and will continue to wait and see like yourself. Long! ;>)

Keith, Personally, if this Texan had the chance to go to Alaska in April - May and be able to write it off as a company expense, I'd be there! Just a possibility!

Hi Keith - you make some good points. Let's see if I can add two bits:

1) The Alaska deal is for $4 mil Cdn, and I think MS quoted a single rig price as about .5 mil US. Thus, the deal sounds like more than a single rig, perhaps as many as 6, and so it may rate some personal attention. Also, I think the release said it was for a JV with BP, so maybe they think it's a big enough player to pamper. First impressions and all that ...

2) I've certainly come to the conclusion that MS tends to over-optimism. If in no other way, at least in his time frames. UP was supposed to go to 10, ACA/RDW were supposed to pop this spring, he even said WRN might do the Big Deal in the first two weeks of April. Maybe his excitement would be warranted in a different year, but I've only been in this since July. How's this for an analogy: he paints a proper picture, but in day-glo instead of oils!
