I've heard the analysts say this insignificant 1.5% pullback is a good and healthy breather for the market to take. "This has let the air out of the speculative bubble" blah, blah, blah. The coverage this drop has been given (I venture to guess that this would not even make the top 200, percentage drops)is unbelievable. We have now become a country so fixated on the market with any down day being called a correction and considered a buying opportunity. The market will probally take this as an opportunity to load up and make new highs.
I think the market will decline long a slowly (Asia, Y2K, deflationatry pressures) unless the fix is in and the govt decides to allow SS fundsto be diverted to the market then, we'll have a bull market for the next 15 years and I'll be going long.
