You ain't kiddin' Steven if Dell can steal an additional 7% or so of the total units shipped,we can beat CPQ for NO.1 position.I think it will be easier to take it from the 'other' guys,well it doesn't matter really.<gg>

Steve, I agree. Others (largely small, local box makers) have made a living by relying on price and flexibility of configurations. The numbers speak for themselves in terms of contraction of "others". As price differentials decrease and Dell's advertizing gains momentum this is where Dell's future market share increases will be coming from.
