greg, I don't think reduction in financing from 1 billion to 400 million is unexpected. In April CC, AMD said that the shelf registration was intended to last awhile, mentioning a prior shelf registration that lasted 2 years.

I'd buy these suckers at par if they offered 7% and a $40 conversion price. What do you expect the numbers to be?
