FTC may be planning 2 lawsuits against Intel. This may be great news for companies like 3Dfx. It may prevent Intel to force PC makers who are using Intel chips to buy other parts like a 3D graphics chip. Check out the following paragraph from this article:

------------
In addition the FTC could file a broader case that charges Intel with forcing PC makers that license its chips to also buy related parts that link to the hard drive or to other parts on the motherboard, the paper said. That case could take up to a year to file, the newspaper said, citing unnamed sources.

Ah but when will Banshee ship ? 1999 ? The Matrox is out in June !
And if you look at Tom's screenshots, the Matrox IS noticeably
better quality. And I am a 3dfx fan, BTW.

Poll: How would Win'98 Delay effect TDFX ?

I don't believe this will actually happen
but I'm curious how you people would spin
this. I'd say it will actually help TDFX
in that it may extend Glides dominence a
bit longer, and since TDFX is more into
the add-on market which should continue
to chug along despite any Win'98 delays.

I am now poised to go Long TDFX just
through Monday. With so many new
players wanting to show up TDFX at
E3 next month, I'd rather not stick
around too long when the reviews hit.

Can you tell me what could be the reason that the MM continue to lower to price throughout the day then spike it mid-day and work to promote a rally at the end. Is this stock being manipulated? I ran stochastics and we broke to 20 mark for a buy but trying to apply TA with TDFX at this time seems to be a waste of time.
