COMPUSA EDISON, NJ

OK here are my findings for SPARQ sales at compusa. We will see how the earnings reflect. I made two trips tot he store one on Fri one on Sun. Both days the sales people were real idiots and could not give me a concrete difference between Jazz and SPARQ except Jazz seems to be faster when all is said and done. Not much compared to the internal SPARQ but external gets butt kicked since no SCSI. However price is of course different(external JAZZ can run close to $400 if you need a SCSI, speed verses cash in this case cash wins out). One sales rep told me that people buy IOM because of the name but people are switching to SYQT. Another told me that SPARQ sales have increased due to a major marketing campaign by SYQT. CompUSA had 4 diffrent areas filled with IOM products and one small area of SPARQ. Again this could be due to either positive or negative reasons.

I think SYQT is just starting to sell and we won't see signifigant increas for the quarter, we will see significant increase in costs though. We will see. There may be another big annoncement after earnings but yesterdays release scares me.
