Additionally, Global is very pleased to announce that the ECS acquisition, which originally was a cash-plus-stock transaction, has been restructured more attractively and is now a stock-only transaction. The new ECS acquisition price is 2 million shares of free-trading Global stock and 4 million shares of restricted stock. This transaction is expected to close this week.

Great that the deal is closing, and that ECS is expanding. Can someone explain why a stock only deal is more attractive than a cash+stock deal? It's hard to say without knowing what the previously proposed numbers are, but it seems that the current shareholders would see more of ECS's future earnings if the stock was diluted less. (Granted, there's not much dilution even now).
