Is today the day CKFR announces earnings? If so, tomorrow's reaction should set the short term trend for this stock.

RE: Countrywide Home Loans

I wonder why they are charging so much.

$9.95 is the rate you pay going direct with Checkfree. Seems most institutions offer better deals.

I'm a dummy I pay $9.95 since I went the direct route. Someday I'll switch to a lower price. But for now I don't mind paying a little extra and I really like paying my bills the "CheckFree" way.

BTW

Has any one tried to access the GENESIS link from the CF Links page at checkfree.com I've tried and it requests that you enter a userid and password. Would be interesting to see what's behind this link.

Ciao!

"Strange Offering 21st Century Banking...without being a Bank, just using them through the internet to provide an enhanced experience?"

If only it was banking!! Unfortunately, bill payment isn't. And without banking, bill payment isn't the "draw" we need. It's like a tripod, with the legs being banking, bill-presentment, and bill-payment. Take one away and the thing kinda tips over. They have to walk the fine line, but the promo has to be through the banks for it to become mega....IMHO.
