marc...I see the ESV analysis as the most accurate..."Any weakness will be short term". We may see earnings down the next qtr or 2(still up but not increasing as rapidly) but ifjolt back to $17+ it won't matter as the perception for 99 willbe stroner again. I haven't heard of any new build jack ups except for RDC Gorillas.

mdco said in conf. call that rig inspections took 3 to 4 cts. off of qtr. they had thought inspections would be spread across full year.
They also said two 300 ft. rigs would be moving to shallower water where there is more demand due to natural gas. these will be short contracts but will be much lower day rate.
