WOOOOOOOOWWWW..... What bit the OSX in the ass in the last 30 minutes? Which stocks were the ones that participated in that 2 point vertical run on the OSX in the last 30 minutes? any ideas?

and yes, I am still around, just lurking as I am all in cash right now. FGII is turbocharged. OSX GLBL got a great bounce off of support yesterday.

Later,
Richard

Ah feel your pain, Barbara.

Actually the earnings probably wouldn't give the sector much of a boost. They came in slightly better than estimates, probably in line with the average stock that came in about 2.5% above estimates.
The frustrating thing for me is that the sector has had vastly superior performance to the S&P 500 on earnings growth for the last 5 years, this year, next year and next 5 years yet trades at a 30-40% PE discount to the S&P 500. I always thought stock market valuation was based on past performance and future prospects. Guess not.

But hey, things are looking up. Very nice final hour for the OEX. Keep the faith.

John

p.s. Webster prefers piddling.
