all - anyone has any news? The one I got, from Cringely column in InfoWorld, should only impact ANET, as he has tried to float the balloon saying ANET is the first target of BAY's next acquisition. Rgds Bosco

Ray, somehow it suddenly dawned on people that if you partner with lu's partner (now subsidiary) - you are indirectly lu's partner too on that product. I think that's why Bay is up today. Also Lu is leaving another major purchase in frame-relay wide-open - but that doesn't seems to be Bay's strength so that must not be the reason.

That still leaves asnd a potential buyout candidate but to buy asnd lu needs 10 Billions !!!! It's a bit ridiculous. I think NN is a moer likely candidate. It can be have for half the price of asnd.
