ACEC PURRED AND NO ONE DONE TOL' ME

Doug,

This one gave a madre des toto singalle on Friday 17th, when I was in Pittsburgh. Did a big-a$$ jump, now on its way down. Will probably be playable long 1/2 point down from now, which is what tends to happen. To put it indelicately, it's the cat hitting the flagpole on the 4th floor of the Empire State Building. Nice little bump usually happens there: I call it the flange. Tends to happen on days of successively declining volume (temporary oversold condition in the reaction to the original dead-cat bounce).
When I get some time free, I'm going to start that thread, and hopefully get a couple of people working on scans, post-signal SELLS, the flange, etc.
Does HOMEF not please you?

Ivan

Doug and All,

I'm a voracious lurker on this thread, consuming all the TA info, as I
have no independent expertise in this area. So take this for what it
is worth.

Someone made the suggestion that taking a look at stocks hitting highs
yesterday during the decline might yield us another APCO. Since I've
been in APCO since 7.00, I figured what the hay, might as well give it
a try. Plus, maybe I could actually contribute something of value.

Anyway, over coffee this morning, I marked some HIGH achievers (NASD)
and did a little research on them to come up with this Magnificent
Seven. See if you can find the one that is erecting to gigantic
proportions due to the impotence of others.

"How's your methodology working out for you so far? Doug R"

Not great. I don't choose well. I seem to buy stocks that are about to fall. I'm like a bag lady - I go to different high-flying stocks and say "Excuse me - would you like me to hold that bag for you?"

Fortunately I've had some good ones to cover for the others. So I'm in the green so far this year.

Doug:

From The Amigos Thread:

A Market Reversal??

Looks like we are getting a significant A/D line bounce today... If
the DOW can close above 9064 soon, we are on our way to
challenge the old closing high of 9172...

The ECI (Employment Cost Index) came in at .07% against a
1.0% expectation... The ECI is the latest Holy Grail indicator for
the Greenspan Gang... This means no FED hike in MAY...
