Seems their are a few of these remote utility reading companies around with great growth potential. Under
deregulation, I think utilities have to make more frequent readings increasing costs. A list of the publically traded companies would be useful

Appear to have some agreements to install their systems (test system): They're in the transformation stage from a research and development entity to a producer:

The Company has agreements to install test systems in Oregon with Emerald Peoples Utility District; in Utah with Springville City Electric; and in Connecticut with the Third Taxing District of Norwalk. The Company has begun installation of tests in both Oregon and Connecticut and plans to begin the Utah installation in the fourth quarter of fiscal 1997. During these tests, Company personnel deploy a
number of AirLink devices in the field to function in everyday utility conditions. Modifications are made to maximize performance, improve functionality, and make required changes. This process is expected to continue for the balance of fiscal 1997 in an effort to reach optimum functionality and performance for anticipated marketing and sales to prospective customers worldwide.

Their subsidiaries:
1) GAM Properties, Inc. (100% ownership_
2) Signature Leasing, a commercial leasing company. (49% ownership)

Sorry not much solid DD here but just started digging...will let y'all know when I find more.

Thanks Joe,
