LOL Betty, If Patriot made toasters they would give you the best shade of brown in the shortest amount of time and with the patented Shanana technology you would be able to put the bread in and out with minimal effort and joint stress. Unfortunately, after waiting a few weeks for delivery the toaster would come without an electrical cord. Customer service would assure you that the point was not really to make toast yet but to marvel at its ease of use and remarkable potential. Of course, they would be very nice and say that a fully operational toaster was on the way. By the way they would add "Could we borrow a few loaves of bread so we can ..." and " If you have any equity in your house would you be so kind as to ...."
