BellBoy, I predict that books will be written about the rise and fall of Zitel. As good if not better story than Bre-X. I don't think Zitel will be shortable much longer. Any short players who have not already played Zitel from the short side should do so quickly, so that someday you can tell you grandchildren "Yes, I shorted Zitel" when they are studying the case history.

It was a grand play and millions were made from both the long and the short side. Last year I thought it was one of a kind, but we have seen more examples recently. Take a good story, throw in some greedy investors, stir with rumors until done, then cook goose.

The Zitel story looks to be nearly over, but don't underestimate the chance that it may have some life left.

It was nice that ZITL co-operated by staying above 10 for a couple of hours this morning to allow the shorts and option buyers play. Hopefully tommorrow will be as fruitful.
