No, I made it home. I tried sending some email home from Kathmandu but it never got here. They have shops with computers all over Kathmandu where you can surf the web for a nominal fee. Don't have running water but have net access-go figure. Cost me something like 15 Rupees(25 cents) for the missing email. I was thinking of going and getting my $$ back.

Midway through the trip I got very sick(vomiting etc) and had to be airlifted out of the Himalayas. I was looking forward to seeing the mountains, but not from a helicopter<GGG> Even with this, it was probably the best experience of my life. I am going to try to get the pictures digitized and set up a site on my homepage.

BTW, one of the sites I saw was Pashupdinath, the largest Hindu temple in Nepal. Anyway, there was a guy there who for the meager price of $1.50, would lift stone blocks weighing ~40-50 lbs, using his penis Needless to say, it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. That is something you can't even find in Times Square<GGG>

I'll let you know when the site is organized.

Regards,

Brian
