No problemo Chris.. we mean the same thing. I only saw 2-3 trades really that went off at the BID so thats what I consider "sells" (although at times it could mean something else)

One good thing about this spread is once you buy you are LOCKED In or else you have to sell at a big loss. LOL---dissuades people from trading it in and out quick :)

But I still think we need more MMs.. more MMs = more competition = smaller spread.

Mark

Picture this folks--

Let's say I'm a shrewd ole geezer with many years of trading experience, or just have a friend that is a shrewd ole geezer. I have oh, about a $100,000.00 bucks to make a real big play on the market.

I have found what I think is sure fire deal, but its' no fun to just buy up some stock like everyone else. I want get it as cheap, cheap as I can and also make a little game of it. I might even want to get a corner on the investment. In this case good ole BLHG.

Soooo, I put out a bid for 25k shares at .87. Then it put out a bid for a 1,000 or 2,000 at .90, another 1,000 for .91 and so on, distributing 35 to 40k of my 100thou. Since the 25k is the largest block by far, and its also the fartherest away from the ask, won't is be the one to show up on the screens across the market? Thus, it obscures the bids in between. It also serves as an anchor on the ask, as no matter how many small trades come across, the big 25k is still sittin there. It begins to work on people's nerves, so they send out a sell with a limit of 1.00 or so, guess who picks it up. But the numbers on the bid and ask don't change.

Does this make any sense or do I just have to much time on my hands?

By the way Mark, I really like the sounds of your story better than mine!! Maybe there we be a few of us folks in the same shape one day!!!!
