Bob, What is your point? That God really desires to destroy the world? Jonahs real message from the Lord was that Ninevah would be overturned in 40 days, there was no mention of repenting that was their good idea. He did not tell individuals how evil they were or put them down it was a simple and direct message. The objective of my post to you was to say that Paul was warm and loving to people that did not believe like him and made every effort to meet them where they were at. This of course included all people as it still does. It is interesting that people use the OT to make a point but when you mention a promise to Israel the OT is dead or a shadow etc... Not implying you but just making a point. May the Lord bless you, Nancy
