My parents are avid bridge players. They had me playing by 8
or 9. All but the oldest enjoys the game. The other two now
aren't sure if I really enjoy their visits or just look forward
to having a fourth for bridge when they're here. I tell them
it's their wonderful company as I go to get the cards.

Waht a shrewd form of child abuse! I must remember to use this ploy at all opportunities. Except that my kids are smarter than I am, and would be cleaning out the checking account. Parents must be aware of their limitations to far greater extent than child-free people...
