"LET US ALL BE INDIVIDUALS".

Then there are the lyrics to a song by the group called King Missile that lead off with: "I want to be different . . . / Like everyone else."

It now begins to appear that inflation of prices and wages (following currency collapses) within the Asian countries has been so rapid as to offset to a large extent anticipated price cutting that was supposed to cause deflation in the United States from cheapened exports.

Or is this true? Does anyone have figures (or anecdoatl evidence)that measure inflation accurately in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Phillipines, Korea, or elsewhere? I am assuming that price levels in Taiwan and Japan have stayed fairly stable.

Perhaps five months is not enough time to make any judgments on this.
