I think your being overly optimistic here over the short term. With the possible exception of the case in Richmond by the appeals court beginning June 2, there is no one case or victory anymore that will cause these stocks to rally. What is at stake is their very survival or reason for existing as a consumer products company. The lawsuits are numerous and they may be coming from all over the globe in the next few months. Don't think I'm despairing here. I'm opening my vault for MO at these levels! It's just that we are in the midst of tremendous heat and pressure on the tobacco industry. As Don put it, it is wartime here and War has never been beneficial for the stock price of the combatants. Again, what is needed is the elimination of the Uncertainty! If only we knew what, if anything, Congress will pass. What we do know is how dirt cheap MO is! It is the UNKNOWN, however, that causes anxiety and panic selling. Don't expect the selling to go away until the UNCERTAINTY is removed! Although it may not be astute investing, it is human nature. I look forward to buying more at cheaper prices.

PS. This has largely been a collaborative effort between liberals and conservatives!
