Todd, that was 15 pills average per script. or about $105.00
($7.00 * 15) to pfe sales' bottom line. Addition to net income
would be 105.00 less the expense to produce and market the drug,
I believe someone mentioned around $3.48 but that hasn't been
verified. Needless to say, if CNBC'S figures are accurate about
last week's script rate, then it remains to be seen where the
weekly total will level off for the U.S. Once Europe approves
in the fall, the total will probably reach into the millions
per week.Assuming a profit of $3.50 per pill, pfe will receive
about $52.50 ($105.00 * 50% est.expense),multiply that by 1,000,000 per week and pretty soon you have 50 million hitting the bottom line
each week. It's hard right now to extrapolate what the bottom
line might mean to pfe long term, but any dip will be a buying
opportunity for those whose horizons are longer than a couple
of weeks.
