<<...The only item of any interest was the statistics on "NetCenter" the Netscape Internet Site. 1997 revenues from the Netscape.com web site were $108 million, up from $38 million in 1995. Revenues were derived from: Ads, 15%, Sponsors: 40%, Search Engine (buying a prominent spot in a search result) 32%, and Transactions (mostly sales of Netscape software) 13%. In general, it appears Netscape would like to make NetCenter a Yahoo style internet site. Is it too late for that?...>>

Too late??? NSCP is just starting to aggressively pursue a similar business model. True, Yahoo! has a lead, but that will just make it easier and cheaper for NSCP to catch up. On any other front it's all NSCP.

It's unbelievable. IMHO, NSCP is positioning itself to grab a large chunk of that. Wall Street won't be able to resist 1-2 Better than expected Qs. New Internet related revenue (not from software) may just do it for NSCP.
