Charles, all stocks are dangerous to short with unlimited upside. I was short Zitel as it climbed from 40 to 70. All stock prices eventually line up with company earnings, but sometimes the wait can be long and painful. Companies that lose money every year eventually run out, regardless of stock price. And writeoffs do use up money even though they are ignored by the "new math".

I can't pick the next Zitel with certainty, but it is probably an Internet stock. If I could only make one pick, it would be KTEL, but don't bet the farm on it.
