Contract by Logicon, Part of Defense Information Systems Agency's
I-CASE Contract

New Contract to Accelerate Implementation of New Dimension Software Products Across Defense Information Systems Agency Mega Centers

IRVINE, Calif., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- New Dimension Software (Nasdaq: DDDDF - news) announced today that it has been awarded a $1.7 million contract by Logicon, a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman, to provide consulting and professional services for CONTROL-Ma and CONTROL-Ra products at four of the 16 Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Mega Centers nationwide.

The new contract builds on New Dimension Software's existing relationship with DISA and Logicon. In April 1997, the Company was awarded a $4.3 million contract from Logicon to provide Integrated Operations Architecturea for the Enterprise (IOAa/Enterprise) products, as well as a range of services, for all 16 Department of Defense Mega Centers. These data centers house a complex combination of MVS, UNIX, Unisys and Tandem computers and are responsible for all administrative, financial and logistics processing for the entire Department of Defense. This environment is currently being consolidated into six locations nationwide, with a wide range of upgrades to ensure more efficient operations and year 2000 compliance.

''We are very pleased to build on our relationship with Logicon and DISA and to provide the federal agency with these added services,'' said Darroll Buytenhuys, president of New Dimension Software. ''Due to its size and complexity, the DISA project has allowed us to exploit many of the advanced features and capabilities of our IOA/Enterprise products. We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to work closely with DISA toward these new objectives.''

Dear Michael -- you make very good points. The stock is rather
volatile though and, since I trade in a tax-deferred account
as well as a taxable one, I have been able to catch the swings
a couple of times. The stock has a history of backtracking (sometimes
substantially) after great eps reported. For all the reasons
you mentioned, I believe this is an excellent longer-term
investment. Just trying to catch the next short-term swing.
Profits aren't logged, after all, until you sell.

Happy trading,
Ariella
