Curbstone Announces Completion of WTS Transnational Corp. Acquisition

ACTON, Mass.--Dec. 19, 1997--Curbstone Acquisition Corp. (OTC BB:CBSO), a public company, Friday announced that it had completed the acquisition of 100 percent of the stock of WTS Transnational Corp., a privately held company, in exchange for the original issuance of 15,488,120 shares of Curbstone common stock.

Curbstone has changed its name to Electro-Optical Systems Corp. The Bulletin Board symbol has been changed to "EOSC." The directors and officers of Curbstone have resigned and have elected the directors and officers of WTS to succeed them.

WTS, a development stage company, has developed a state-of-the-art fingerprint identification system that Electro intends to market to large software vendors and systems integrators to enable them to limit access to databases by unauthorized users.

The company believes that the medical, financial, telecommunications and insurance industries are continually struggling with respect to the cost- effective solution of privacy and security of digital-based information. They require the need for greater security of transactions and data.

Even in the less high-tech areas of manufacturing systems (time and attendance, material control), individual auditability is an issue.

Fingerprint identification systems are recognized as one of the few ways to produce security improvement and user verification. The placement of a finger on an optical platen acts as a switch that automatically produces the coding required to log on to a system and verify the user.

Charles Weaver, president of WTS and new president of Electro, says, "This acquisition will enable Electro, as a public company, to aggressively take advantage of the market niche for the problem of privacy and security of data. Our low-cost fingerprint biometric system will provide identify verification 'gatekeeper' entry systems to PC and network data owners or companies."
