LT, I make it a habit to stay full invested. I don't time the market. The only time I find myself buying is either when I have new cash or I close out a previously existing position.

I never buy before earnings unless I'm going to sell before, but if I'm going to buy, it is always after earnings on a sell off hopefully. So no.

I only like to buy Dell on down days..I was hoping today would have been 1 but its hard to find many down days on dell..Did you ever get the nerve to short this bad boy..I respect you but I want to be able to be honest at the same time..You are chicken to short it and thats why you stay close to the thread..Remember dell bounces back like no other stock in the market and many a short has gotten trapped..Ask Hank..
