tbr: mrk: h&Q conf. hamquist.com something to keep an eye on... also Business wk May 4. talks about traders on line. oh, i loaed up on Mrk - stocks, no leaps yet. i would like to see it go down more... before I buy leaps, but just incase it does NOT go down atleast i have the stocks. tbr: bovespa index was down 5% today, do you know why?

Hi Sonny: I think Wednesday could be a key day. If we are higher by Thursday, then the odds of us trading substantially higher would increase tremendously. If not, I would be somewhat concerned about the potential length and breadth of this unfolding correction. Could also be a key day and week for PBI. If it too trades higher, I will be relieved for you, but I would keep one hand on the rip-cord as it may be long term curtains for this one. You know there are some negatives creeping into their franchise, eg. Increased use of E-mail, and maybe some new mousetraps or other threatening technologies around the corner that we may not yet know about. This is a dynamically changing area. Another minor point, their postman spokesman from the '80's hit series 'Cheers', is also beginning to look a little outdated and somewhat passe. Perhaps shareholders are already voting their silent disapproval of this. I would be very careful of this one. It's time may be past... Rgds Wiz
