Hi DL, I've used some covered CALLS in the past with some of my stocks. Generally, I need a pretty fat premium to make it work. The reason is that I only write calls at prices and for quantities that match my risk management software. In VTSS's case that might be just one or two contracts instead of for the whole position.

To keep the brokers from eating the profits up, I usually look for selling calls with at least $1 premium in them. Above that I make more than the broker!

Thanks for reminding me about this. I haven't looked at CALL options on VTSS for some time.

Best regards, Tom

RE: I'm long VTSS and COMS. VTSS is mostly into chipsets for wireless. I don't know if there is a relationship with COMS.

Mr. Lawrence,
Could you elaborate on your last post where you said VTSS is mostly into chipsets for wireless? I am aware of NO wireless products from VTSS. Is VTSS introducing a new product line? I don't see anything on their web page that shows anything wireless.

I hope VTSS does NOT pursue wireless applications. I also seem to remember hearing the CEO during the last conference call stating that VTSS doesn't plan to enter the wireless market.

Thanks
