Do you really fell Fu_cked by IDTI? I don't think what the company was saying was that far off. It's more that investors got their hopes up prematurely. Great earnings growth hasn't happened quickly with AMD or Cyrix/NSM, so why should everyone think that it will be that dramatically different with IDTI? They have had some early problems getting the production to higher volumes and they did sound enthusiastic about near term prospects, but the competitive scenario has changed and prices have plummeted. These are things that to a large degree could only have been guessed at. Was management too enthusiastic? Yes, but not by that much; they said earnings would be flat last qtr. Were investors expecting too much too quickly? Your darned straight they were. For that part of it we can only blame ourselves.

Hi Nigel,
Sometimes a good F__king feels good! It's a matter of perspective! Those bits of TA measure can be viewed as easily from a contrarian point as at their face value.

I can't blame IDTI for a bunch of lemmings committing suicide! However, my position in VLSI has actually gained in value during this market hiccough, so maybe everyone already hates VLSI enough that it's a relative bargain while they loved IDTI enough that it was temporarily over priced.

Best regards, Tom

You're speaking Greek, man. Wake up. That stuff is for the birds.

IDTI has been a good investment since Dec. and will continue the ascent, albeit certainly at a slower rate. The company has changed. The C6+ chip may not mean cash flow for now, but I think management has created a lot of goodwill (i.e. an attractive asset, espe. to an acquirer) in this chip. And they're working on CL.

I would use guts and instinct before relying on dubious TA numbers.

Also I think today's action looked pretty good.
