John - Re.: Why does SYNT appear to be immune to this Y2K correction?

As I'm writing this post the price is around 28 as we expected. JDN and I have said often that one of the reasons for SYNT's move is they are non-y2k company and are adding only up to 14% of y2k biz in 1998, up to 20% in 1999. (Other reasons: small float, etc.) IMRS started primarily as y2k biz, now trying to diversify into non-y2k. The market is judging most y2k companies not only by their CURRENT p/e and also how credible their plans are for life after year 2000.

That does not mean any negative on IMRS. Sanan, CEO, knows what he has to do. He'll do it.

Since y2k sector is volatile, one has to evaluate all y2k stocks on a daily basis and make adjustments as needed. Ram
