The dog of Mr. Pink's portfolio was selected by none other than your former leader, who has since abdicated. Yes, I am speaking of the great davef. If you are really interested, go back and read the posts on the stock picking contest. It was davef's annoying off topic posts that inspired me to start the contest. Mr. Z continues to show an interest and as there is no clear winner yet I continue to humor him on the topic. Now if you would like to initiate another stock picking contest, be my guest. Perhaps you could team up with Z-man as it is obvious that he needs to find something to do with his life.

Obviously Mr. Pink's disciple, Dan Loeb, is not suffering too much as his fund, Third Point Partners L.P. has won a prestigious award for having the top performance in the event-driven category in 1997.

Save your sympathy for people who need it--like yourself after ACRT crashes a la TRII.

Mr. Pink, happy to have taught Mr. Loeb everything he knows
