conference call i don't think it was a good conference call, at least not from a short term perspective the analysts were not beating a dead hourse when they asked over and over about inventory beginning inventory + purchases - ending inventory = cost of goods sold so when earnings just make the mark and ending inventory looks it is reasonable to ask about inventory given the delay of soundblaster live and the inventory situation the short term prospects don't look so good given the possibility of a buy back and the company's dominance in its industry long term looks good ÿ
