'HEARD ON THE STREET: Lions or Lemmings?' San Diego Investor
Relations Group Seminar

SAN DIEGO, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The San Diego Investor Relations Group (SDIRG) announced today the agenda for
its annual full-day seminar today, to be held on May 28th at the Sheraton Grand Torrey Pines.

Julie Meier Wright of the San Diego Economic Development Corporation will be the keynote speaker. The program will
include ''Disclosure Jeopardy,'' a fun, yet educational panel. Alex Muromcew, portfolio manager of the Nicholas Applegate
International Core Growth Fund; a panel analysts including high tech, biotech and consumer goods; and a panel of
stock-picking experts. David Evans of Bloomberg News Services will be the lunch speaker.

Susan Atkins of Ligand Pharmaceuticals, chairs this year's event. ''With the backdrop of this raging bull of a market, we're
holding a seminar with experts on international markets, stock picking, disclosure, the regional economy and the future of
industries of local importance,'' she said.

The San Diego Investor Relations Group is a group of local business professionals involved in investor relations. The annual
seminar is a chance for continuing professional development and this year a portion of the proceeds will benefit a scholarship
fund for local college students interested in investor relations. The seminar begins at 8 a.m, with a continental breakfast, includes
lunch and ends at 4:30 p.m. with a no-host bar benefiting the scholarship fund. The cost is $125 for SDIRG members and
$150 for non-members who register before May 11th. After May 11th, the cost is $150 for SDIRG members and $175 for
