Whose earnings goal is this Arthur? Lest P&F draw the wrong conclusion, the 1 analyst that covers CCUR carries an estimate of
$.25 for next year. Of course, this is before next week's show.
Do you know what they are going to announce, and have factored that into your estimate?

Thank you most honorable mr. mommy. While I am a long term believer in ccur, there is no way -- NO WAY -- that this company earns $0.50 from operations this year. Have you been sniffing columbian or peruvian tang?

Or maybe you mean next year, when that is realistic after vod contracts, etc.?

ps Oh most honorable mr. mommy, I own, and am responsible for the ownership, of several million shares of this stock. Don't make me laugh by asking about my volume. Go back to technobabbling and sniffing.

Arthur, I would love to see 0.50 this year, but is there any basis in reality for this number?

By my calculations, CCUR needs to generate about 3.3 million in revenue (given current profit margins) to generate a penny of earnings. Each of 1Q and 2Q earnings were 0.03, which leaves 0.44 to earn in the remaining quarters to get to 0.50. This would require revenues of approximately $145 million. Even assuming RT sales continue apace, this will bring required VOD earnings down to 0.38, requiring CCUR to generate about 125 million in revenues. These numbers don't account for leveraging of fixed costs, but presumably CCUR would have to gear up CAPEX for that kind of production anyway.

Can anyone give me a back of the envelope VOD sales plan which would generate this kind of revenue? (last year CCUR generated a total of 56 million in revenue from all product lines).

That having been said, Corky did say in his 10/30/97 press release that CCUR expects to see VOD revenue in Q3, and that CCUR's VOD servers have been integrated with the SFA set top box. Thus, we should expect to see some VOD revenue at the next earnings announcement. Since the last quarterly earnings announcement was about 45 days after the quarter end, I expect 3/31/98 to be announced by 5/15/98. Does anyone know for sure when the announcement will occur?

Thanks, Randy.
