thanks for the post.
a friend of mine did a website side by side comparison 'tween amzn and barnes and noble......
amzn came in second place in his opinion.
bertlesmann, the german big boys, will have to be reckoned with also......when you have companies that actually MAKE PROFITS competing against amzn.........well, i dont think amzn will keep puffing along. i'm happy that people love amzn, tho i'd like to buy some puts (never done that before) since you cant find stock to short.

I haven't seen the website, but I used to live not far from their physical location in Portland. One of the best bookstores anywhere. They know their stuff.
