Brian, If you flip open the centerfold of the AMAT annual report, there's a graphic showing what AMAT feels are some of the key missing pieces. UTEK would fill 2 of the holes shown. On the UTEK thread, a new member (Carl Mays) seems to think that UTEK may be preparing itself for a sale. Fab Automation didn't seem to be high up on AMAT's list of things to manufacture and sell to its customers. Ian.

Brian, here's what Brad Dryer said about SI after the buyout: exchange2000.com I appreciate your statement "the people appear to be happier than most of the people I know. Americans are for the most part, whining crying babies. I have learned to be much more appreciative of everything I have. In the future, you won't hear me crying about a point loss here or there. Scenes like I saw change you permanently in many ways. I only wish more people could see what I saw to appreciate life in these United States." Need to be reminded of that from time to time. Gottfried
