Ken

Understand that my level of patience is much lower than most, so I tend to put up with a lot less s--t than others might. Character flaw, I guess.

Be aware, also, that when Datek is running smoothly, which they haven't been lately, they are by far the best online broker there is for the average trader. Speed of execution, instant updating of account balance, fills like a MM, exposure to the markets, etc, add up to a great value for $9.99 per trade.

Having said that, I do 10-20 trades per day, and I just got sick of dealing with Datek's growing pains, and non-existent customer service. But you will find others who have had no problems with them, and I'm sure they will speak up. I guess it's the luck of the draw, or the letter that starts your last name, or the cosmic karma, or whatever.......

Rather than recommend any to you, since I don't know your needs, let me point you to a few I would suggest you check out.....

Castle Securities........http://www.castleonline.com

Hope the URL's are correct, if not, they're close...<g>
