If; 1) 50+ of them have phrases like "this rocket is going to the moon baby!!!" this is a plus. 2) 30+ of them have people saying "I got in at 1, it is at 8 right now, I am waiting for 25", this is a plus. 3) there is an absolute lack of fundamental analysis, this is a plus. 4) people talking about the cars/vacations they have taken on the stock gain, this is a plus. 5) there is a one or two short sellers and they are being cursed, this is a plus. If I have 4 out of 5 plusses, I short the damn thing. It is very easy to get burned though. I have hit my loss limits very quickly in some cases. (I shorted KTEL at 18 got out at 22 in 1 hour I think, then the "dude" ran up to 50! haha) I also look at this thread, last week when Roger and Pancho went long GNET, I shotgun shorted bunch of Internet dudes. Did ok on that one. (should have covered monday morning instead of monday afternoon but still can not complain.) Does this help? Gokhan
