Don't worry. I think the overall market is weak, and should head down even lower before heading back up. As long as CPQ can continue to close in the middle $27 during the down trend, I think we'll be okay.

Hopefully the FTC approval is near.

Richie,
'Concrete' positive news in the fall did nothing but move Compaq down while the Dow was soaring. The smart guys figured out what was going on behind the scenes and dumped, taking advantage of 'the news'. I would forget news at this point (except for positive earnings/sales) and watch the tape. When the stock starts to move on increasing volume, that will give you the real story.
