Oil futures are down about .10.

MDCO agrees to buy and upgrade a North Sea jack-up.

I wonder why they don't just move one of their GOM jack-ups.

>>Well, in a way, I'm happy. Sold FGII yesterday morn @ 40. When I read yesterday on the FGII board that after hours, FGII was 46, well, I tell ya' I was sick last nite. Really!!!<<

REALLY!!! I laid in bed alternating between getting up and having a beer or wallow in my tears to write poetry (having sold my options...but still holding the stock). But you know that after hours stuff is really a bunch of crap. So thin it hardly means anything. QCOM was up 6 points after hours when their earnings came out and ended down a couple points the next day. It appears, however, that when bad news is posted, after hours trading on the downside seems to be a bit more accurate.

So there I sat ready to weep this morning and then I saw FGII bump up 3/4 points. PHEW! 6-8 up after market. BAWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!. Now then, why was I relieved? For God's sake I still owned the stock. I should want it to go up. But those options...but...but... I hate it when I get pulled in both directions. BUT wait, I used that option sale to buy some UTI options. Looking good so far. O.K., the speculator side of me is happy again.

Alas, Thean you were right about not buying at the open...usually a bad idea anyway. As stated before FGII has had quite a run up and needs a rest. I frankly would be more worried if it did spike up. Building a base here would be a good idea.

Back to work. So what's that Captain guy back for?
