Well, maybe you better open your eyes then. Somehow Nomai has managed to sell over 500,000 XHD discs (according to Iomega itself) inside of six months, and in just the European market. When they become widely available in Europe and in America, they have stated that they will sell them for a 30% discount under the Iomega Brand Zips.

You see, Iomega loses big time either way. If the discs work great, then why not buy them and give Iomega the finger it deserves for charging so much for their discs? If XHD discs do indeed cause drive failure, then Iomega loses again if the drives fall under warrantee because people can say they were using only Iomega Brand discs. What proof is there otherwise? The expense for repairing and replacing the damaged drives is going to fall right into Iomega's lap.

BTW, it is my guess that Nomai discs cause the same amount of damage that Iomega discs do. Iomega made no mention of any inordinate drive returns rates in Europe last CC, even though 500,000 Nomai Zip discs were used.
