Roger,

I read your post #61 this morning and thought, "here's my chance to earn some of those brownie points Roger was talking about!" Alas, Denice was on the ball and realized the error of her ways. maybe next time.

Speaking of points. Any thoughts of implementing a rating system on the thread? We comment on commercials by also voting on a 1-10 scale or something? Might be fun until it gets boring.

Does anybody know if the cleo awards get televised like they used to?

Clo

Yo Quiero Taco Bell

Anybody else find it funny? What is funny, though, is the new Jack-in-the-Box ad that pokes fun at the TB ads. The chihuahua (chi-wa-wa?) walks by a car that has the Jack head on the antenna. Jack asks him what kind of taste he has - "you're a dog!" and tells him to let his owners know about the sourdough burger. I LOVE those commercials that belittle competitors' commercials - LOVE THEM! It's like having a champion tp do, in the most public way, what you love to do - make fun of silly ads.

Denice, Caroline, Seinfeld fans or not, you'll have to tune in to the final episode in May just to see the ads. They are being sold for $1.5 million per 30-second spot and promise to be as entertaining as superbowl ads.
