My question - Why did the stock (and options) fall like a rock if this is such good news?? On the way to 15 again? I am getting a little tired of "buying opportunities" would like to see some "selling opportunities" for a change! ;^) geoff

Are you people crazy? Did you see the earnings? Many y2k companies are struggling, and ALYD with all of its offices and employees is surviving with shi~less revenues. Just think how much money ALYD will make when this y2k problem really becomes a problem. Will ALYD make $2.00 in 1998? I say it is absolutely possible, because the shi~ will hit the fan at the government level and corporate level before 1999. If ALYD through already signed contracts gets the go ahead, they can pull in 10's of millions in a single quarter. There is not a large difference in converting 1 million lines and 50 million lines of code. The problem is to get the governments and corporations off there as~ to start taking care of this vital issue. President Clinton is not going to be known as the president that saved social security, he will be known as the largest fuc~-up in american history for not taking a leadership role in y2k that is going to put the world in a major recession or even depression.
