I took the day off yesterday to meet a friend at the corner of Michigan and Trumbull. Tiger Stadium, the ancient relic built in 1901. Gehringer, Cobb, Kaline, Cash, Gibson....now these were ball players.

Anyway, we're sitting there drinking suds and eating hotdogs steamed in Detroit river water and from nowhere my buddy starts talking about this "new" cellular phone company, their neat features, and low prices. Not wanting to burst his bubble, I kept my i600 in my pocket, and listened to him rave about the savings, and this neat walkie talkie thing.

Tigers won 7-2. First complete game victory for a Tiger pitcher in 18 years.

After a couple hours at the Windsor Ballet (WOW!), and feeling pretty good <VBG>, it was off to The Joe for the Red Wings playoff game (man, it don't get any better than this). Now who do you suppose has their logo and slogan on the center ice scorboard? Yep. Now maybe i'm bias (maybe?), but Nextel is EVERYWHERE; on TV, the radio, billboards, and most importantly on people's belts, and in their pockets.

Trying out for head cheerleader!

Give me a N....give me an E.....
