Alex, fascinating PR outta MSFT just now re: s/w upgrades 4 ECU invoicing by all their customers a/w/a currency symbol availability on keyboards and in all programs, not just for hand-held PCs but also for desktops, networks, enterprise whoozits, etc.

Not as adept at surfing as you are, since this just crossed my live data server...but maybe you could post a link?

Once again, forgive me for intruding. The wealth of knowledge here is staggering & I need an explanation for something I don't understand.

I investigated Stockhouse & another place mentioned (can't recall where) for information on Kinross to no avail. I'll go directly to the company for an IR package.

The question I'm asking is:

I've been watching Kinross all day. Seems the volume jumps by as much as 50K to 100,000 shares at a time but no change in price. Am I witnessing shorting? I don't understand how this staggering amount of shares don't effect the price of the stock.

Could someone kindly explain what I'm lacking in the _mechanics_ of trading?

Thanks & apologies for protocol breach.
