found an interesting add in Information Week 4/27/98 P188. Couldn't find a web link for the ad, however the ad said: Major Liquidation offering by order of Informix. Over $15,000,000 worth of current Data Base Management Computer hardware including: Pyramid Reliant Scalable Systems NCR Enterprise High Availability Servers Lucent G3RSI Telephone Switch w/500 Telephones Plus: additional $1.5 million dollars of NEW NCR Computer Equipment. Call for details. Norman Levy Associates, Inc. Phone 510-521-6363 I called about the equipment and was told that Informix had planned to open additional facilities, but decided against it. Some of the equipment has never been used. I wonder if this will be a write off this quarter?
